#112 - ANCIENT
And finally a picture of Naumburg Cathedral. It was built in the first half of the 13th century, which makes it pretty ancient. Picture taken on February 23, 2008.

#100 - CARVED
More from Naumburg Cathedral. When I thought of the theme, I thought that it would be something wooden. But then I saw the carved grapes and leaves that surround the choir of the cathedral and knew that I had to use them for this theme. It's unbelievable what one can do with stone... Newsflash!
My mom called me last night and told me that my camera has come back from the doctor. She doesn't know if it's been fixed since there is no paper stating that the problem has been found or something like that. Huh. They probably wouldn't have sent it back if it wasn't fixed, though. At least that's what I'm hoping. Anyway, since I won't be back in my hometown before mid-March she's going to send it to me (together with a lovely long black skirt that arrived as well--I'm so excited!) and it should be here by Friday. Then I'll be able to check if it's really fixed. I can't wait to get back to work on the 366!

Ahead! But not for long, unfortunately...
There is some bad news that will hopefully turn itself into good news later. My camera has to go to the doctor. As you may have noticed, there has been a grey spot on every picture that involves skies or other light areas in my pictures. I've been having this problem since my NYC trip, maybe even before that and I just never noticed... I thought and hoped that it was just a fluff or something else on the lens, but it isn't. When I took two pictures for "view" today, there it was again. And this time I finally found out that it isn't on the lens, but somewhere in there. Because when I zoomed, the location of the spot on the picture changed. So it is something I can't rectify myself, which means that my beloved camera has to go to the camera doctor. Luckily, it's still within the two-year warranty. Let's hope they either find the mistake or give me a new camera in return. And let's hope that it won't take too long so I won't have to catch up on months of pictures... I'll be going to Italy at the end of March. It'd be a shame not to have the camera back by then... All sorts of crossed fingers or whatever else helps are highly appreciated.
Get well soon, cam!

#034 - PIZZA
I had planned to take the pizza picture this weekend. So I went and bought one, not thinking that there isn't really a yummy vegetarian pizza (no meat for me during Lent) out there. So I decided to pimp one and did my own creation. *lol* I bought a mozzarella pizza that already had some pesto and tomatoes on it. I added some more fresh tomatoes and put it in the oven. Once it was done, I added rucola and some very yummy Gran Padana cheese. Oh and pepper. The result was very yummy!! I highly recommend it and I think I'll try it more often myself. #089 - RAINBOW
I thought I was done taking pictures for the day, but when I went to get my car from the dealership it was raining (even trying to snow there for a while) and sunny at the same time, so I when I looked there was a wonderful rainbow. I was so excited that I stopped to take pictures, even though it meant getting a little soaked. And I couldn't wait to post it, so here it is. Picture taken on February 6, 2008.

#169 - MUSIC
For me, the best thing about music is making it. Here's a picture of my piano and one of my favorite piano pieces. It's the "Opening Piece" of "Glassworks" by Philip Glass. I played some other Glass pieces as well today, and they're very easy to get lost in. In a positive way, of course. ;) Picture taken on February 3rd, 2008.
