#116 - FUTURISTIC (15 of 365)

This is the transparent dome on top of the Reichstag. It's pretty futuristic and has been very disputed in the beginning (the Reichstag was reconstructed in the 1990s after having been destroyed in WWII). The light funnel that goes all the way down the dome helps to light the plenar hall and since the outside is completely mirrored it offers nice (and multiple) reflections.

The walkway going up and down the dome. It's pretty neat because it gives you a 360° view over Berlin and since the walkway seems pretty flat it's not even tiring. :D

This is the closest to the plenar hall of the federal parliament you can get without a guided tour. It's a little fuzzy due to all the glass between me and the plenar hall but it still gives a nice impression.
