#359 - WHITE (42 of 365)
White fur never photographs well or easily. Add backlighting to that and this is what comes out: A cozy Diego, bathed in white light. It is an unintentionally beautiful picture!

#184 - MOTION BLUR (37 of 365)
A moving cat and bad lighting make for looooong shutter times. And sometimes funny things come out of it, like in this picture where Diego seems to have lost the upper left half of his face and his ear. :D Motion blur at its best. :D

#8 - ARCHITECTURE (35 of 365)
Old and modern (or, in case of the Frauenkirche, old and modern in one building) - that's the architectural mix to be found in Dresden.

#152 - IN SHADOW (34 of 365)
While the Altmarkt (Old Market Square) of Dresden is already in shadow, the tops of the buildings surrounding it are still aglow with orange sunlight.

#41 - CENTER OF INTEREST (33 of 365)
A friend of mine and I attended the world premiere of "Coriolanus" the Berlinale (Berlin film festival) together. We walked the same red carpet the star later walked on and we wanted to capture that moment in a self-portrait. As it often is with self-portraits - they go wrong. So my friend and I, intended to be the center of interest of this picture, are nowhere near the center of the picture. But that makes it all the more funny. :)

#87 - ENTRANCE (30 of 365)
I attended the world premiere of "Coriolanus", directed by and starring Ralph Fiennes. Here, the stars (Fiennes, Vanessa Redgrave, Gerard Butler, and a woman whose name I forgot) make their big entrance on the red carpet, arm in arm with the director of the Berlinale.
The movie was interesting - a pretty violent interpretation of Shakespeare, transported into modern times. Okay, but I don't have to watch it again...
