There is some bad news that will hopefully turn itself into good news later. My camera has to go to the doctor. As you may have noticed, there has been a grey spot on every picture that involves skies or other light areas in my pictures. I've been having this problem since my NYC trip, maybe even before that and I just never noticed... I thought and hoped that it was just a fluff or something else on the lens, but it isn't. When I took two pictures for "view" today, there it was again. And this time I finally found out that it isn't on the lens, but somewhere in there. Because when I zoomed, the location of the spot on the picture changed. So it is something I can't rectify myself, which means that my beloved camera has to go to the camera doctor. Luckily, it's still within the two-year warranty. Let's hope they either find the mistake or give me a new camera in return. And let's hope that it won't take too long so I won't have to catch up on months of pictures... I'll be going to Italy at the end of March. It'd be a shame not to have the camera back by then... All sorts of crossed fingers or whatever else helps are highly appreciated.
Get well soon, cam!

I hadn't noticed it - I either didn't see it, or assumed it was a water drop or something. But I hope your camera's back home soon!
Oh no! I hadn't noticed it either. I hope they're fast with it!
Good luck! I do hope you'll be back in business for your holiday. I'll look forward to pictures from your trip...
Hope cam gets will quickly. Poor you!
Regarding your rocket picture below, I thought that was a fantastic interpretation.

My best wishes to your camera. Italy sounds like a lovely place to go in the spring.
