A musical building...I kind of imagine the top coming off, and little dancers twirling to a tune inside! It is beautiful, and it stands out perfectly against the snow and wintery sky
I obviously didn't succeed in completing the challenge, though not for lack of interest but because life (thesis writing, lots of concerts, etc.) got in the way. Let's hope I'll be more successful with 365 in 2009. After all it's one photo less. ;)
Here are the themes of the 366 in 2008. And these are the themes I was able to complete.
365 in 2009
Taken: 166
Remaining: 249
Once again, I wasn't able to finish the challenge - work, music, and life in general got in the way. It's not really for lack of photos - I took quite a lot and quite a few good ones in 2009 - but for lack of time to prepare and post them here that I so unceremoniously dropped out of the challenge.
The themes I was able to complete can be found here and I might post the complete 2009 theme list - if I can find the time...

Okay we take your word, a musical building - How do you play it??
From inside. ;)
What a beautiful old building...the architecture is so traditional...love the repeating patterns! Gorgeous!
Loved your response to Ron...that should shut him up for awhile lol

Beautiful building. Nice job with exposure - hard with a dark building on white snow.
Beautiful crisp shot.
Th epeople in the front add a sense of context.
Germany is such a beautiful country, I look forward to seeing more in your photos!
Beautiful shot & beautiful building. Before I even read your description, I thought it looked just like a music box!
Such a beautiful building. Looks like it has seen a lot of history. Like your point of view for the photograph.
Love your take on this theme word; and I like the changes from light to dark/top to bottom.
Great interpretation of the theme. Love the photo and the composition - really like the lamp post in the lower left.
This is one I would really love to see!
