A spider web at the top of the tower of Dresden City Hall. It is a little blurry because I had to use the flash to make it visible and because my camera also decided to focus on the city scape in the background. But it is a very unique picture and I really like it. You don't get to see a spider web above the city very often. *lol* Picture taken on July 13, 2008.

I think this is a particularly amazing shot! The accident of the camera's focus made for a really interesting image...
What a cool idea! I think one of those times where the camera ends up with a better shot by ignoring what we want to do - the silvery threads look great out of focus, with the gold city behind!
In this case, I think I wouldn't like the shot as much if it focused on the web instead of the background because that means you know where the web IS (above the city), like you say. It's really cool!
Oh, yes! Wonderful capture, Christin! This must be the winner for the "spider web" theme -- if we were choosing winners -- ha!
