The city of Dresden by night, photographed from atop the tower of the city hall. These pictures weren't taken at exactly midnight, but very shortly after (still within the academic quarter ;)). I am quite proud of them and it would be a waste not to use them for this project. Pictures taken on July 13, 2008.

Those are beautiful, with the brown and gold of the sky and city - I think the first one is my favourite - just. I'd frame one of those for your wall, if I were you! ;-)
